About Dr. Mishonda Felix
Dr. Mishonda has been in nursing for 28 years, and she loves her wonderful profession. She has been married to Pastor Granardo Felix for 18 years, and they both serve at Trinity United Methodist Church in Fernandina Beach, FL. She is a mother of two boys, Brandon and Christian.
Dr. Mishonda holds a master's degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from the University of South Florida, and she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2023.
Dr. Mishonda has proudly started a telehealth business called "Fruition Wellness," and she is also a soon-to-be-published author of a new book that tells of her journey through anxiety and addiction 12 years ago. Her book is called, Recovering Me. She also founded "Spoken Honey," a communications company through which she and her husband serve the community with talk programs. They also serve through "Healing Together," a ministry that caters to anyone who has suffered brokenness through loss of any kind.
Dr. Mishonda has recently started a weekly women's recovery support group called "Release." It is so named because when we are in recovery, we are being released into a new way of living.
Dr. Mishonda has a loving affinity for speaking on topics that affect the mental well-being of all people, especially nurses. Something exceptional happens when nurses get together. One of our greatest gifts as human beings is being able to speak words of life to one another, and that gift is amplified because nurses naturally care.

Dr. Mishonda believes nurses who are pursuing wholeness need to have more balance. That balance, in turn, emanates onto the people they care for. Therefore, her greatest honor is to offer nursing care circles for this profession that she loves. In return, the connections and friendships that will be established for years to come will be immeasurable.
